The Horizon 2020 BlueBRIDGE project aims to support capacity building in interdisciplinary research communities actively involved in increasing scientific knowledge about resource overexploitation, degraded environment and ecosystem with the objective of providing a more solid ground for informed advice to competent authorities and to enlarge the spectrum of growth opportunities as addressed by the Blue Growth Societal Challenge. Over 1,400 users from different sectors are already exploiting the BlueBRIDGE services (here are some examples of the virtual environments already delivered to different users and communities).

If you are an SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) operating in the fisheries, marine, environmental, ecological or aquaculture fields, you have the chance to apply to the new Competitive Call launched by BlueBRIDGE, with the scope to support 5 applicants in solving data management issues by using the BlueBRIDGE services and resources (i.e. datasets, services and technologies, and data analytics) free of charge.

The resources offered by BlueBRIDGE will allow SMEs to improve their existing data services/products, setting up new services for their customers and therefore enhancing their portfolio. The selected SMEs will be able to set up a tailored virtual collaborative environment (VRE) which they can use to address their data management challenges for free until February 2018 while being supported by a dedicated technical team.
