MobiSpaces at the Urban Mobility Days 2023

MobiSpaces had the opportunity to participate in this year's Urban Mobility Days, a highly relevant event hosted by the European Commission dedicated to advancing sustainable urban transport. Spanning from October 4th to 6th, 2023, the event served as a global convergence point for experts, innovators, policymakers, and stakeholders who congregated to delve into the latest developments in the dynamic field of urban mobility.

MobiSpaces had a dedicated booth and here had the chance to introduce its cutting-edge technology and innovative approach to urban mobility, liaising with many of the major European actors in urban mobility. 

In a captivating exhibition that drew widespread attention, MobiSpaces showcased its 2 Urban Use Cases. This comprehensive demonstration of their capabilities highlighted their multifaceted contributions to urban mobility, ranging from electric micro-mobility services to integrated transportation platforms and ingenious smart urban planning tools. These solutions seamlessly aligned with the European Commission's visionary pursuit of promoting clean and sustainable urban transport alternatives, as well as mirroring the main objectives of the EU Mission “100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030” all aimed at reducing congestion and effectively addressing pressing environmental challenges.

Beyond their impressive exhibition, MobiSpaces actively participate in discussions, sharing invaluable insights on the future landscape of urban mobility and the pivotal role of technology in surmounting transportation challenges. They underscored the pressing need for robust collaboration between the public and private sectors to create holistic, smart, and sustainable transportation ecosystems that benefit all strata of society. It was also the perfect ground for the project to strengthen relevant synergies with key European actors in sustainable and intelligent mobility (such as ERTICO, the Civitas Initiative, NetZeroCities), in order to establish long-lasting collaboration for future policy or research-driven events.

Urban Mobility Days 2023 emerged as an invaluable milestone, endowing MobiSpaces with heightened visibility and a broad range of strategic networking opportunities. The firsthand knowledge acquired from the latest trends in European urban transportation provided MobiSpaces with a clearer vision of where to strategically position themselves to optimally leverage the achievements of their projects.

Our role

Trust-IT leads MobiSpaces WP7 'Communication, Exploitation, Standardisation & Roadmapping'. Our role includes coordinating promotional activities, planning and executing the MobiSpaces outreach.

At the Urban Mobility Days 2023, we had the opportunity to further increase our connections, establishing contacts with many stakeholders of the European mobility domain. This will allow us to plan more effective synergies for our future communication and dissemination activities
