Cloudscape Brazil 2015, taking place on 1-2 December at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF), Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro, is a 2-day workshop giving public entitites and companies essential and unique insights into what cloud services means for their organisation today.
With the Cloudscape Brazil series launched almost one year ago by the EU Brazil Cloud Connect project, this 2-day workshop will showcase an impressive array of cloud user stories from cutting-edge research in the life sciences to newcomers competing with established players.
Cloudscape Brazil 2015 is an excellent opportunity to share insights on co-operation activities between Europe and Brazil, and celebrate the successes to date, highlighting the fundamental role that cloud federated infrastructures play in enabling researchers tackle major social challenges.
In this 2015 edition, the workshop has collected 15 position paper from its participants with the aim to present new co-operation activities under the third coordinated call, learn about research and innovation on cloud technology in Europe, and see how businesses from different sectors are benefitting from cloud services in both Brazil and Europe.
This is only the first step in a continuous dialogue between all stakeholders with an interest in exploring pathways for closer collaboration between Brazil and Europe on issues of common interest and transforming society and the economy through the cloud and big data.
