Fostering the rise of a European Open Science Cloud with the EOSCpilot

EOSC website

The EOSCpilot website has just been launched online, the reference platform for the wide range of stakeholders of this project. From the broader scientific community and research infrastructures (and E-Infrastructures), to policy makers and industry, all those who visit eoscpilot.eu will be updated on the latest events and news regarding the EOSCpilot initiative and in general on everything turning around EOSC and its community.

Trust-IT, leading the Engagement and Communication work package (together with LIBER), developed an advanced Intranet area that supports all the communication activities among partners and third parties, integrating a variety of functionalities: a mailing list system, an online multi-user file repository, events calendar and, soon, a web conference tool.

Trust-IT managed the development (and will be responsible for the nurturing) of the EOSCpilot website as part of the wider context of the communication and dissemination activities planned for this challenging project. These activities will be the basis upon which EOSCpilot will leverage its efforts for raising awareness on the project to the relevant stakeholder community, through the right channels.

Started in January 2017, EOSCpilot was born in the wider context of the European Open Science Cloud initiative.
