Trust-IT contributing to the CESSDA Research Infrastructure ERIC outreach strategy

26 Apr 2021

Trust-IT is delighted to be continuing, with its assorted team of digital marketing & communication professionals its communication services in 2021 to the CESSDA Research Infrastructure ERIC. Trust-IT has wanted to focus this strategy on building a solid value-proposition around the CESSDA brand, capitalizing also around the European acknowledgement cited within the recently published Open Research Europe Platform for fast publication and open peer review for research across the Social Sciences and Humanities & Arts areas. The strategy will have a 10-month horizon and support to CESSDA will revolve around 4 macro-activities:

  1. Foster further uptake of the 2 key products (DMEG) Data Management Expert Guide, as well as the (DC) Data Catalogue, for which trademarks were filed in December 2020.
  2. Showcase the CESSDA brand, and its added value for the member Social Science Data Archives, by providing them a stage with end-users.
  3. Relevant and impactful Content production that emphasizes societal benefits.
  4. Stakeholder engagement, with a particular focus with end-users. This will include gathering of testimonials, writing of focused articles, interviews and video pills emphasizing user satisfaction.

The strategy leverages on digital marketing activities set in motion in 2020, actively onboarding end-users for the CESSDA DC and DMEG, in close collaboration with CESSDA working groups and over 20 European Social Science Data archives.

“Trust-IT has actively increased our community engagement and outreach.
They have provided us with new ideas and creative solutions to support our digital marketing and communication services. CESSDA Services and their value-add are now much better defined and they have supported us in rolling-out two trademark products too.”

Ron Dekker, CESSDA Executive Director, SSHOC and EOSC Future coordinator
