ACU - Association of Commonwealth Universities

The ACU is one of the largest and most diverse university organisations in the world, with 530 member institutions operating in some fifty countries—including 110 in Africa, over 200 in Asia and almost 100 in Europe. It is involved in a wide range of networks, conferences and training activities in key area such as library provision, human resource capacity and development of early career staff, graduate employment, marketing and communications. ACU manages the CASST-NET proposal to assist science policy making in African governments, and two of the three major international scholarship programmes of the UK government: the Commonwealth and Marshall Scholarships.
