As Founder & CEO, I feel privileged to be in a position where I tackle the day with the same passion and energy as I did when I first started working within ICT some 20 years ago. I love that we have created a balanced mix of Tech & Commercial implementations and Research & Innovation within our organisation. I dedicate my time to focusing on high-level strategies and guidance around digital communications, innovation and impact methodologies - always maintaining a user-centric approach. I enjoy working within all challenging fields, particularly Open Science, Digital Infrastructures, and ICT Standards. Having grown up in the UK and being of Italian heritage, I chose to follow my roots and I am proud to be able to weave these cultures together within a Tuscan setting at Trust-IT.
My work at Trust-IT is focused on business organisation and development, providing the vision to our team for quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
With an MSc in engineering, I have been working for more than 30 years in ICT, with a persevering passion for two elements that are in the DNA of our company: research & innovation and web-based solutions. I particularly enjoy following up closely with our initiatives in challenging fields such as cybersecurity, environmental studies, and digital services at large.
As Financial Director of the company, I focus on all economic aspects of our delivery phase - particularly in resource management. I do that with the passion that comes from over 30 years of experience in the field of ICT.
With an engineering background, my specific interests revolve around web-based applications, with a special focus on cyber risk, data protection & privacy management, and eLearning services for networked enterprises.
You can also find me jogging on the local country roads, come rain or shine, keeping fit while listening to Genesis classics.
As a Marketing Analyst, I use my Lean Six Sigma skills to improve workflows utilised in communication and dissemination services and I actively contribute to several pan-European initiatives. In particular, I am currently part of the team developing the European forum of the software research community I am also involved in HPC initiatives in material design at the exascale, and I am supporting the secretariat of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). I hold a BSc degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and I am a Yellow Belt certified and Green Belt trained Lean Six Sigma practitioner.
Being the Senior Admin Officer at Trust-IT for several years has allowed me to develop a wide range of administration skills. I really enjoy mastering my daily tasks. I particularly like tackling something new each day, which makes me truly love my job. I have an MSc in business economics and before joining Trust-IT I dealt with import/export within the fashion industry.
I love maintaining a genuine, human side at work and with people in general - and they say I am particularly good at it, too!
I am working as one of Trust-IT Services’ graphic and web developers. Holding a professional degree in Graphic Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Humanities from the University of Pisa, I like to work hard, analysing and solving problems with the most efficient and practical solutions.

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawing and developing software. In 1994 I discovered for myself the world of the web and I have merged those two passions of mine. I have witnessed the constant growth of the usage of web CMSs and I have developed my skills around the advanced usage of them - with all the graphical themes that can possibly be handled - moving from Pearl to environments such as Zope/Python, right up to the widespread PHP-based CMSs. I simply love to translate software coding into graphics. Nowadays, this is UI/UX design and I think I have always done it since before it even had a name. I have several hobbies, but nothing pleases me more than playing one of my wonderful guitars.
I am a Copywriter and Digital Marketing Specialist, currently involved in projects related to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and to ocean sustainability.
Holding a Master’s degree in English and Chinese from the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, I have worked in a range of international environments between Italy and China, including education, tourism, and culture at large. Outside of Trust-IT, I write about metal music & the climate crisis.
I am a Web Developer, currently completing my BSc in humanistic computer science at the University of Pisa. My deep-rooted passion is to create web solutions capable of facilitating and improving people's lives. I strive to prove that one of my best qualities is to always find the most practical solution to a problem.
I like to spend my free time pursuing my other passions of literature and travel.
I have worked in a variety of areas in software engineering over my career and have enjoyed all of them. I find the European R&D environment to be one of the most exciting on the international scene today and I am glad to bring my experience to the collaborative initiatives that Trust-IT is involved in. I graduated in computer science from Yale University and the University of California at Berkeley. I currently serve as an Associate Editor of IEEE Software Magazine for the Management area.
As a Senior Project Manager, I enjoy working closely with business and research communities around the globe, supporting them in their outreach efforts. In particular, I have several years of experience in mapping the cybersecurity Research & Innovation landscape and providing organisations with resources in this area. I am also involved in various initiatives that are implementing the vision of the European Open Science Cloud. I also lead the dissemination modules for the European Commission’s Horizon Results Booster for Trust-IT, having previously coordinated the EC’s Common Dissemination Booster.
Before joining Trust-IT I was a teacher and I have an MSc in Educational Management.
With educational experiences in Spain and Russia, my strong interest in accounting and internal auditing led me to the administration office of Trust-IT.
I am firmly convinced that learning is a life-long journey and I feel grateful to have the opportunity to apply and deepen my knowledge in such a collaborative and international environment.
When I’m not working, you can find me cooking or playing with my German shepherd.

I hold an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and I have gained experience in supply chain and project management.
My professional passions are related to circular economy and sustainability challenges. I am curious to learn new things all of the time. You usually find me nose deep, reading books about subjects that I know nothing about or learning new languages.
I am a creative developer, a designer at heart, who firmly believes in the power of skills and tools to shape the best possible user experience for everyone.
Holding a degree in Graphic and Visual Communication, I love digital design and I specialise in UI/UX Design & Front-End development. I follow the thread of new features about design and technology, always striving to be up-to-date with the latest technologies and solutions. When I'm not doing this I follow my passion, surfing & mountain climbing!
A Digital Marketer with a background in web design, front-end development and digital analytics, now in love with conversion-rate optimisation (CRO) and UX. With over 20 years’ worth of work experience in web and digital marketing, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging B2B and B2C projects prior to joining Trust-IT. Passionate about everything tech and digital, I try to keep up with the latest trends - at least when I'm not hiking or otherwise enjoying the mountains for ultra-trail running.
I am a Web and Graphic Designer, with a particular gusto for illustration. I see design as an opportunity for problem-solving and as a way to create memorable user experiences. I am passionate about UX and front-end development, building responsive web sites with tailored HTML and CSS. Having been born in Italy and having lived many years abroad, I love to be part of international teams and working in ICT, helping research and science to increase their impact by disseminating results and engaging stakeholders.
Always striving to make a difference with our clients and partners, my motto is: 'Give me an espresso and a good story, and I will move the Earth' (semi-cit).
As proven by my background based in various studies, from Communication Science to International Business Management, I am a very curious person and I love going through digital problems and finding… digital solutions.
