As Founder & CEO, I feel privileged to be in a position where I tackle the day with the same passion and energy as I did when I first started working within ICT some 20 years ago. I love that we have created a balanced mix of Tech & Commercial implementations and Research & Innovation within our organisation. I dedicate my time to focusing on high-level strategies and guidance around digital communications, innovation and impact methodologies - always maintaining a user-centric approach. I enjoy working within all challenging fields, particularly Open Science, Digital Infrastructures, and ICT Standards. Having grown up in the UK and being of Italian heritage, I chose to follow my roots and I am proud to be able to weave these cultures together within a Tuscan setting at Trust-IT.
My work at Trust-IT is focused on business organisation and development, providing the vision to our team for quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
With an MSc in engineering, I have been working for more than 30 years in ICT, with a persevering passion for two elements that are in the DNA of our company: research & innovation and web-based solutions. I particularly enjoy following up closely with our initiatives in challenging fields such as cybersecurity, environmental studies, and digital services at large.
As Financial Director of the company, I focus on all economic aspects of our delivery phase - particularly in resource management. I do that with the passion that comes from over 30 years of experience in the field of ICT.
With an engineering background, my specific interests revolve around web-based applications, with a special focus on cyber risk, data protection & privacy management, and eLearning services for networked enterprises.
You can also find me jogging on the local country roads, come rain or shine, keeping fit while listening to Genesis classics.
As a Marketing Analyst, I use my Lean Six Sigma skills to improve workflows utilised in communication and dissemination services and I actively contribute to several pan-European initiatives. In particular, I am currently part of the team developing the European forum of the software research community I am also involved in HPC initiatives in material design at the exascale, and I am supporting the secretariat of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). I hold a BSc degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and I am a Yellow Belt certified and Green Belt trained Lean Six Sigma practitioner.
I hold an MSc from King’s College London and a PhD awarded jointly by the Gran Sasso Science Institute (L’Aquila) and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Pisa). Prior to joining Trust-IT, I gained professional experience in a variety of different workplaces in academic, public, and private sector positions. At Trust-IT, I am currently involved in a diverse set of initiatives related to my background first & foremost in Social Science, Data Management, Open Science and Open Data, and now venturing into new domains of interest to me in Biodiversity, Mobility and Digital Twins. When not at work I enjoy reading, exploring new places, and photography.
Being the Senior Admin Officer at Trust-IT for several years has allowed me to develop a wide range of administration skills. I really enjoy mastering my daily tasks. I particularly like tackling something new each day, which makes me truly love my job. I have an MSc in business economics and before joining Trust-IT I dealt with import/export within the fashion industry.
I love maintaining a genuine, human side at work and with people in general - and they say I am particularly good at it, too!
I am working as one of Trust-IT Services’ graphic and web developers. Holding a professional degree in Graphic Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Humanities from the University of Pisa, I like to work hard, analysing and solving problems with the most efficient and practical solutions.

Working at Trust-IT is an outstanding opportunity to broaden my horizons in the field of international communication, getting involved in cutting-edge Research & innovation projects. Passionate about politics and current affairs, I also write for the foreign editorial pages of two factual civil society web pages. I love to spend my free time between cultural & sporting events...always down for a beach volleyball game!
With a master's degree in economics from the University of Pisa and previous work experience in supply management at public administrations, at Trust-IT I use my skills to carry out daily accounting and administration activities. In fact, I have been writing, for many years now, the Sports section for our local press and you can usually find me analysing some Pisa SC matches. I try and put the same tenacity in my IT job as I do in my journalistic flair.
I am a Graphic & UI/UX Designer with more than 15 years’ worth of experience in marketing and communication initiatives. I love my job and all the opportunity for growth that it brings. Wanting to acquire professional qualifications, whilst pursuing my Master's degree in Digital Humanities from the University of Pisa, was the right balance and stimulus I was looking for. Particularly, to take on new challenges in a tech-driven and innovation-rich environment like the one at Trust-IT. Once my internship concluded here at Trust-IT, I now feel more confident to undergo more stimulating roles here that are being assigned to me. I am always excited to embark on novel and complex IT projects and am highly motivated to put my university skills and creativity to the test. In my free time, I read, dance, and study new technologies & design trends in the web domain.

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawing and developing software. In 1994 I discovered for myself the world of the web and I have merged those two passions of mine. I have witnessed the constant growth of the usage of web CMSs and I have developed my skills around the advanced usage of them - with all the graphical themes that can possibly be handled - moving from Pearl to environments such as Zope/Python, right up to the widespread PHP-based CMSs. I simply love to translate software coding into graphics. Nowadays, this is UI/UX design and I think I have always done it since before it even had a name. I have several hobbies, but nothing pleases me more than playing one of my wonderful guitars.

My mother's from Seattle, my father's from Tuscany, and I was born in Marseille. That's my go-to intro! I've lived most of my life in Sardinia, until my longing for a more open & diverse context lead me to Trento for a Master's in EU & International Relations and a Washington D.C. internship at the Italian Embassy. As a Senior Project Manager, I undertake responsibilities for the implementation of complex digital marketing strategies, particularly in the context of pan-European Open Science initiatives. I combine project management skills with a professional journalist background. At Trust-IT, I leverage my experience in communication, journalism & policy analysis to maximise the impact of EU research & outreach, especially now in ICT. Born and raised within walking distance of the sea and with the sound of the waves accompanying my every experience, I’m drawn to it like a magnet. I hold an MSc in Political Science & International Relations and have lived in Brussels after initial work experiences in editorial offices. Now I live a stone's throw from the river Arno - not the sea but, hey, it’s Tuscany right?
I am privileged to have been able to follow my passion for graphic design since 1996, starting in desktop publishing and prepress and eventually growing out into multimedia and web design.
