EMERALDS next webinar: Data Processing and Analytics Services

Trust-IT is proud to host and moderate another engaging EMERALDS webinar next week, on Friday, 14th February 2025, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. This online webinar will present innovative approaches to mobility data management and analytics, address key challenges, and present solutions that enhance data processing efficiency, privacy, and predictive capabilities.
This new webinar, going deeper into the technical aspects of the project, will include presentations from the experts in the EMERALDS consortium, who will explore how mobility data can be collected, processed, and analysed to improve urban transport while maintaining privacy. They will discuss innovative methods for handling large-scale location data efficiently, integrating different datasets to enhance accuracy, and using artificial intelligence to predict mobility trends. A particular focus will be on urban micro-mobility, such as shared transport usage, and techniques for forecasting crowd density in busy areas while protecting sensitive information.
The event will conclude with a Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with researchers and professionals working on data-driven mobility solutions.
Whether you are a data scientist, urban planner, policymaker, or simply interested in how analytics can support smarter and more efficient cities, this webinar will give you insights into the latest advancements in mobility data analysis.
What is EMERALDS?
EMERALDS (Extreme-scale Urban Mobility Data Analytics as a Service) is a Horizon Europe project focused on developing a Mobility Analytics as a Service (MAaaS) toolset. The project aims to improve urban mobility decision-making by processing large-scale mobility data efficiently while ensuring privacy. By using edge computing, EMERALDS processes a significant portion of data close to its source, enhancing response times and protecting sensitive information.
The project is designed to provide meaningful insights for transportation engineers, urban planners, and policymakers, offering advanced data analytics capabilities to support better mobility management. With its focus on privacy-aware data handling and scalable analytics, EMERALDS is helping shape the future of smart mobility systems across Europe.
