Interoperability in Focus: Connecting Europe’s Cloud & Edge Layers - A CISERO Webinar Exploring Key Technical Challenges and Solutions

As Europe advances its vision for a competitive and sovereign cloud and edge infrastructure, the ability to ensure seamless interoperability across platforms, infrastructure, and data layers becomes not only a technical challenge, but a strategic imperative.
To support this effort, the CISERO project, with communication and outreach led by Trust-IT, is hosting a dedicated webinar on 3 September 2025 from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST, focused on the theme: "Interoperability in the European Cloud-Edge Continuum: From Infrastructure to Data".
This session will explore the multifaceted challenge of aligning infrastructure, platforms, and data systems across different layers and stakeholders, with the goal of supporting a more integrated and efficient European digital ecosystem.
CISERO, as the Coordination and Support Action for the IPCEI-CIS initiative, provides a collaborative platform for stakeholders to exchange knowledge, align national and industrial efforts, and surface actionable insights. Trust-IT, as CISERO’s communication and engagement partner, plays a vital role in facilitating this dialogue and bringing it to the wider European cloud-edge community.
Now in its third episode, the CISERO webinar series continues to promote community building and knowledge sharing in support of IPCEI-CIS. Each session offers a unique opportunity to explore key enablers for Europe’s digital transformation, from reference architectures to sustainability strategies, and now, interoperability.
