The online webinar will highlight important research and insights from project experts, exploring the latest advancements in information technologies and how to adapt to this new ecosystem to preserve fundamental democratic principles. 

About the Taskforce

The AI, Big Data, and Democracy Taskforce is a cluster project composed of four different EU-funded projects, KT4D, AI4Gov, ITHACA and ORBIS, working hand-in-hand to deliver the European Commission’s priorities of generating inclusive and innovative societies, while safeguarding democratic processes against technological threats. 

Each project offers individual expertise on the interplay between emerging technologies and their influence on democracy and civic participation. The collective efforts of the taskforce encourages increased awareness of the challenges and opportunities presented by AI and big data, attempting to empower decision-makers, developers and citizens with the knowledge to strengthen democratic systems.
