agrifoodTEF revamps its website to accelerate AI and robotics adoption in agrifood
agrifoodTEF, one of the EU-funded networks of Testing & Experimentation Facilities (TEFs) under the Digital Europe Programme, helps companies test and validate AI and robotics in real farms, labs and processing sites across Europe. Its goal is to get market-ready, trusted technologies faster, often at no or reduced cost via local funding schemes.
As dissemination & communication lead, Trust-IT Services, together with its 3rd-linked party COMMpla, coordinated a full website refresh to make agrifoodTEF easier to navigate for innovators and agritech companies.
The revamp was co-designed with the project partners through two UX/UI workshops that first rethought the Catalogue of Services and then the overall site. The outcomes were translated into page-level wireframes and mock-ups, and a transparent feedback loop was run, tracking comments and implementation status in a shared document across the consortium.
What’s new on the agrifoodTEF website
The revamped website offers:
- a clearer homepage with concise value propositions, calls to action and success stories from research centres, testbeds, digital innovation hubs and industry partners across Europe;
- faster navigation and access to local teams (nodes) thanks to improved “contact the node” flows;
- reworked success stories into short, evidence-based narratives that show what was tested, where and with what results;
- a re-organised Catalogue of Services to let visitors browse by sector, test type, delivery country and service provider, while an updated catalogue of infrastructures and facilities highlights the assets behind testing and experimentation;
- training resources accessible via live webinars or on-demand sessions.
The aim of the revamped version of the website is to help startups, SMEs and industrial players to turn their agri-food innovation into a market-ready solution.
