FAIR-IMPACT is calling for individuals who are passionate about open science and committed to advancing FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles to become EOSC FAIR Champions.
This initiative aims to recognise and support individuals who are actively promoting and implementing FAIR practices in their respective fields. The EOSC FAIR Champions will act as ambassadors for open science and help to build a more FAIR and inclusive research ecosystem across Europe.
Applications for the EOSC FAIR Champions are open, and interested individuals are encouraged to apply by 10 March 2023. To be considered, applicants must have a track record of implementing FAIR principles in their research, as well as a strong commitment to advancing open science.
According to the FAIR-Impact team, “We are thrilled to launch this program and recognise outstanding work that individuals are doing to advance open science and FAIR principles. The EOSC FAIR Champions will play a vital role in promoting a culture of openness and collaboration, and we are excited to support them in their efforts.”
