HSBooster, a European Commission initiative that is providing the European Standardisation Booster services to European projects to help them increase and valorise project results by contributing to the creation or revision of standards, is offering a variety of free resources, making it easier than ever for individuals and organisations to enhance their expertise in standardisation and harmonisation processes. The Training Academy now boasts three distinct offerings: Training Courses, Live Training Sessions, and the newest addition, the Serious Smiley Game.
Comprehensive Training Courses
HSBooster’s Training Academy offers an array of 25 self-paced training courses designed to cover various aspects of standardisation. These courses are tailored for professionals looking to deepen their understanding of standardisation processes or for those new to the field seeking foundational knowledge. Each course is created by experts in the domain, ensuring that participants gain practical insights and industry-specific expertise.
Interactive Live Training Sessions
For a more hands-on learning experience, the Academy also provides 13 live training sessions. These real-time sessions, led by industry experts, allow participants to engage in discussions, ask questions, and explore the nuances of the standards they aim to master. Participants also have the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Introducing the Serious Smiley Game
The newest feature of HSBooster’s Training Academy is the Serious Smiley Game, an innovative tool designed to make the learning process both engaging and effective. The game blends educational content with interactive elements, challenging participants to solve standardisation-related scenarios. By incorporating gamification, the Academy aims to make learning more enjoyable and improve information retention, particularly for complex topics.
