Science enthusiast & food nerd. I am a food technologist by training with a Bachelor and Masters degree in Food Science and Technology, I hold a PhD in media and social media portrayal of genetically modified foods from the University of Sheffield's Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, UK. After several years in academia looking at the way innovation is perceived and portrayed, I realized my true passion was to support scientists showcase their research and achievements. So, I nurtured my skills in science communication, capacity building and knowledge exchange by creating science dissemination content and managing science related educational projects in the private sector. At Trust-IT I put my nerdiness and passion for science storytelling into practice by supporting the dissemination of projects on digital innovation, sustainability and Earth Science.
