DTO-BioFlow news

DTO-BioFlow was highlighted in a recent episode of Euronews' Ocean documentary series. The episode spotlighted projects and policies dedicated to ocean preservation, with DTO-BioFlow standing out for its innovative efforts to collect, harmonise and make accessible marine biodiversity data, including the advancement of a digital replica of the oceans.

The episode features key objectives and insights of DTO-BioFlow, including comments from coordinator Klaas Deneudt and other project members on the significance of the work being done to preserve marine ecosystems.

The programme aired on Tuesday, September 24, but is now available for online viewing in multiple languages on Euronews’ website and YouTube. 

The episode is also featured in an article by Euronews Green on the “Digital Twin of the Ocean: Europe’s game-changer for sustainable seas”. DTO-BioFlow is referenced as one of the projects helping to build EU's groundbreaking Digital Twin of the Ocean, by streamlining access to various types of data and optimising the functionality and scale of previously unaccessible biodiversity data.

Our Role

Trust-It coordinates the Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation (CD&E) activities for DTO-BioFlow, promoting project activities and results to all relevant stakeholders and ensuring maximum engagement of key target audiences throughout the project and beyond. 

Trust-IT drives project branding, communications, website construction and content update, story-telling, and social media outreach to identify and link important target audiences for targeted distribution, exploitation, and communication while stressing the project's social impact.
