Brief Description

The CISERO project is a strategic initiative under the European Union's Important Project of Common European Interest on Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services (IPCEI-CIS). It aims to bolster the EU's digital sovereignty by developing highly scalable, interoperable, secure, and energy-efficient cloud and edge computing solutions. These advancements are essential for supporting the European economy, enhancing the competitiveness of businesses, and meeting the needs of public authorities and communities across Europe. CISERO's efforts align with key EU digital transformation strategies, including the European Data Strategy, to ensure the EU remains at the forefront of technological innovation.

Our Role

CISERO acts as a coordinating and support framework, focusing on the adoption and exploitation of IPCEI-CIS results. By leveraging its extensive network, CISERO provides essential services such as technical secretariat support, a helpdesk, and business ecosystem development. These services are designed to facilitate the sustainable deployment of cloud-edge infrastructure and services across Europe. CISERO's role includes building partnerships with member states, companies, and research organizations, while promoting collaboration with existing EU initiatives like the GAIA-X open-source framework and Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs).

Impact
