Brief description
CoordinaTEF plays a key role in advancing Europe’s Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs) for Artificial Intelligence, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination across different sectors, including Agri-Food, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Smart Cities & Communities.
The project aims to align these facilities to maximise their impact and promote trustworthy AI adoption, fostering a vibrant AI ecosystem in Europe. By addressing both shared and sector-specific challenges, CoordinaTEF enhances the operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and market adoption of AI technologies across the continent.
Through active collaboration with stakeholders, including European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), European Data Spaces, the Artificial Intelligence Data and Robotics Association (Adra) and the AI-on-Demand Platform, CoordinaTEF will develop a unified framework that supports the sustainable growth of TEFs while ensuring their integration with broader European initiatives.
Our role
Trust-IT is leading multiple key activities aimed at enhancing the visibility, engagement, and collaboration among TEFs and the broader European AI ecosystem. Trust-IT is responsible for the design and development of the Knowledge Sharing Platform, an interactive hub that serves as a core communication tool for both public and private stakeholders. This platform will facilitate the dissemination of results, enable collaborative efforts, and provide a space for knowledge exchange among TEFs and external partners.
In addition, Trust-IT will organise a series of webinars aimed at familiarising users with the platform, showcasing its functionalities, and guiding stakeholders on how to leverage it for collaboration and knowledge sharing. Trust-IT will also take the lead in coordinating and supporting the organisation of various events, such as workshops, policy panels, and innovation challenges, designed to promote the project’s goals and foster stakeholder engagement.
Finally, Trust-IT will manage the overall communication and dissemination strategy, ensuring a consistent and impactful presence for CoordinaTEF. This includes curating targeted campaigns, coordinating outreach activities, and delivering content across multiple channels to engage key audiences and maximise the project’s visibility across Europe.
Results
The main results, once delivered, will include:
- A blueprint report which will gather and refine the experiences and best practices of TEFs, providing a replicable model for future AI TEF implementations.
- Robust impact assessments and roadmapping, including the collection and analysis of KPIs, will guide future recommendations to maximize TEF impact.
- A catalogue of shared resources and services will be developed to foster collaboration across TEFs, enabling cross-sector AI and robotics adoption.
- A series of training and mentoring sessions will be conducted to enhance skills and foster competence building across TEFs.
- A detailed analysis of sectorial TEFs’ business models and go-to-market strategies will help identify gaps and key requirements for long-term sustainability.
- Working groups consisting of TEF representatives and external experts will collaborate with national and European institutions to align approaches and develop a series of guidelines, best practices, and success stories will be disseminated to aid compliance efforts and promote trustworthy AI adoption.
