Standardisation for the Cyber Resilience Act - HSbooster.eu & Cyberstand.eu joint webinar

On 26th February 2025, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET, HSbooster.eu, Cyberstand.eu, and STAN4CR will co-host a webinar addressing the latest developments in the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and its associated standardisation request.
This collaborative event will bring together experts and key stakeholders to discuss the evolving landscape of cybersecurity standardisation, providing valuable insights and guidance on the next steps in the process.
Background
For professionals involved in EU cybersecurity, understanding the implications of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the standardisation request is essential for shaping the security of digital products.
This webinar will provide an up-to-date overview of the current status of the CRA and progress on how the European Standardisation Organisations are responding to the anticipated Standardisation Request. Discussions will include details on the relevant Working Groups and the timeline for implementing both horizontal and vertical standards.
What to expect?
This webinar will feature key voices in the standardisation process, including Filipe Jones-Mourao, who leads Cybersecurity & Digital Privacy Policy at DG Connect, and Lucia Lanfri from CEN-CENELEC.
A particular focus will be placed on the ongoing efforts to draft and build consensus around horizontal standards referenced in the draft Standardisation Request. In addition, the webinar will explore upcoming initiatives led by the Danish National Standardisation Body (DANSK) as part of the STAN4CR EU-funded project, shedding light on how these efforts contribute to the broader European standardisation agenda.
Trust-IT, through its involvement in Cyberstand.eu and HSbooster.eu, plays an active role in the organisation of this webinar. The discussion will also highlight opportunities for European stakeholders to secure funding and directly contribute to the development of cybersecurity standards through Cyberstand.eu’s 4th Specific Service Procedure.
