The brand new Booster (2024-2028) launches this November and Trust-IT’s role as leading dissemination support services to EU research projects continues. The Booster supports EU-funded projects in their journey from results to impact, strengthening the dissemination and exploitation strategy of the European Commission (EC) and supporting its research and innovation (R&I) activities. It follows directly on from the successful Horizon Results Booster (HRB), where between 2020 and 2024, Trust-IT provided over 250 services to a plethora of project from across the European research landscape. Each service impacted on projects and beneficiaries alike and saw the formation of new synergies and joint dissemination activities such as webinars and policy briefs.
The new-look Booster provides a new approach for dissemination support with more focus on individual projects and how they can adapt and improve their dissemination strategy. Add-on services also help projects to build their dissemination network, create synergies with other projects, address IPR issues, improve public speaking and create a video specifically for the Horizon Results Platform. Services are available not only for individual projects but also groups of projects looking to carry out joint dissemination activities.
The Booster is coordinated by META with whom Trust-IT also partner with in a number of other projects related to the Booster. This includes DEDEP.eu which will design and pilot a framework of D&E support services to DIGITAL projects; and the newly funded widerAdvance Facility which will commence in January 2025 and will provide a D&E Facility for Widening projects. The consortium also includes ICONS which will also deliver the dissemination services with Trust-IT, EURICE, PNO Consultants and PPMi.
Upcoming Launch Event
On 22 November 2024 at 10:00 CET the EC will hold a special online launch event where coordinator Alessia Melasecche, META, will provide further information on how projects can access the personalised support and guidance on dissemination, go to market, go to policy, and go to applied research aspects that the Booster provides. The initiative facilitates access to opportunities for EU-funded researchers and innovators to transform their project results into impact.
