Brief description
The Research Center “Enrico Piaggio” of the University of Pisa is one of the oldest interdisciplinary research and technology centres in Europe. Devoted to personnel training for careers in R&D, the Center brings together scientists from different fields, ranging from engineering and mathematics, to medicine and psychology.
Our Role
We supported our subsidiary company COMMpla in providing the Centro Enrico Piaggio with ICT assistance for:
- maintenance and management of the dedicated Ubuntu server hosting for some of the main websites (www.centropiaggio.unipi.it; www.feel-ing.it; www.biolab.ing.unipi.it; www.nevermindproject.eu; www.esgco.org; esgco2020.unipi.it).
In particular, the client required ICT support on the following operations:- handling of possible malfunctioning;
- Operating System (OS) updates;
- Drupal security updates;
- websites and related database backups;
- support ticketing system.
We were also responsible for:
- the creation of a new logo;
- the design and development of a new website for the Neuro-Cardiovascular Intelligence Lab (NCIL), based on Drupal technology, to allow the client to autonomously publish images and articles.
Impact
The new NCIL website, with its visual identity, has been designed to provide visitors with the best user experience, so they can effortlessly browse through publications, news and projects and quickly find what they need.
