Brief description
EOSC-hub created the integration and management system (the hub) of the future European Open Science Cloud that delivers a catalogue of services, software and data from the EGI Federation, EUDAT CDI, INDIGO-DataCloud and major research e-infrastructures. The Hub builds on mature processes, policies and tools from the leading European federated e-Infrastructures to cover the whole life-cycle of services, from planning to delivery. The Hub aggregates services from local, regional and national e-Infrastructures in Europe, Africa, Asia, Canada and South America. The Hub acts as a single contact point for researchers and innovators to discover, access, use and reuse a broad spectrum of resources for advanced data-driven research.
Our Role
Trust-IT brought its expertise, by leading the innovation management, communication and stakeholder engagement activities. We have developed and implemented a stakeholder-oriented dissemination and engagement strategy evident in the enrichment and maintenance of the EOSC-hub website which required not only expertise in content strategy but also an advanced level of technical expertise.
The company was also instrumental in the organisation of the EOSC-hub Week flagship event series held in 2018, 2019, and 2020 that hosted an average of 300 attendees each year that brought together key players in the European Open Science Cloud landscape.
Trust-IT also helped conceptualise and produce its rich set of digital and print communication materials including the publication of the quarterly EOSC-hub magazine.
Some examples of our branding and communication materials work can be seen in the EOSC Portal Poster and EOSC-DIH Success Stories.
Funding
EOSC-hub has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 777536.
