Brief description
CYBERSTAND.eu supports EU experts in cybersecurity to develop harmonised standards to address the needs of the proposed Cyber Resilience Act and related Standardisation Request. The project:
- Purchases €1.5 million worth of services from EU experts to support the development of harmonised standards for the implementation of the CRA
- Delivers a series of events and publications;
- Creates a Working Group and consultations on Standardisation and the CRA ;
- Contributes and reinforces European Values, ethics and policy in cybersecurity.
Our role
Trust-IT coordinates the effort with 5 strategically positioned partners: European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), European DIGITAL SME Alliance, CEN, CENELEC and ETSI.
As coordinator, Trust-IT manages the project guaranteeing timely and high-quality results through the efficient administrative, technical, organisational, and financial coordination.
Building on the successful management of the similar projects such as StandICT.eu and SEEBlocks, Trust-IT will lead the set-up and management of the project’s online Platform which will include the Trust-Grants platform (including the handling of specific support procedures management, evaluation/admin processes).
Finally, Trust-IT will also guide the WP4: “Communication & dissemination, engagement, training, and sustainability”, by defining the overarching branding strategy management for CYBERSTAND, organising workshops and events.
Results
The main results, once delivered, will include:
- €1.5 million worth of services purchased from EU experts which contribute to the requirements established in the EC’s CRA Standardisation Request
- +30 synergies with SMEs, startups and projects on cybersecurity
- +10 relevant use cases mapped for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
- +100 European experts trained in cybersecurity standardisation
