Brief description
EOSC Future is an EU-funded H2020 project that is implementing the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). This EOSC will give European researchers access to a wide variety of research data and professionally provided services.
From April 2021 to September 2024, EOSC Future will work to unlock the potential of European research via a vision of Open Science for Society.

Our role
Trust-IT is involved in the definition, coordination and implementation of an impactful EOSC Future stakeholder engagement and communication strategy across the project and its target stakeholders. We’re excited to be working on this via:

The revamp of the EOSC portal to become the central communication channel and knowledge hub for the European Research Community.

The delivery of an EOSC Future tailored Funding Platform -thanks to our fully customisable Trust-Grants™ platform- for the management of the Research Data Alliance (RDA) cascading grants and the EOSC Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) calls for EOSC service acquisition. The organisation of online and offline events and participation in key conferences to create awareness of EOSC benefits, resources, marketplace, and latest developments.
Impact
The expected impact of the EOSC Future project:

Provide pan-European access to state-of-the-art secure, interoperable and scalable EOSC services and resources. Enabling genuine Open Science able to address societal challenges and achieve a leading position in multidisciplinary scientific excellence in Europe.

Enable researchers and other users to compose secure and scalable services that respond to actual and evolving needs, in a secure, flexible and scalable environment.

Build an agile EOSC and increase the uptake of its services by public and private sectors stakeholders, across Europe, exploiting solutions and technologies for the benefit of all areas of economy and society.

Increase the overall value of open research data and ensure that EOSC contributes to the global playing field of open FAIR data.
