Brief description
ATMOSPHERE designed and implemented a framework and platform relying on lightweight virtualization, hybrid resources and Europe and Brazil federated infrastructures to develop, build, deploy, measure and evolve trustworthy, cloud-enabled applications. ATMOSPHERE provided a solution to assess trustworthiness of cloud applications dealing with data and support the development of more trustworthy cloud applications. ATMOSPHERE was a 24-month European and Brazilian Research Innovation Action project in the field of Cloud Computing, funded by European Commission and RNP and MCTIC, under the EUB-01-2017 call.
Our Role
Trust-IT played a central part in leading the Community Engagement, Communication & Impact activities. Trust-IT’s portfolio included designing and implementing online marketing communication plans, social media campaigns, design of communication materials, mobile apps for research and industrial communities, SEO and copywriting as well as layout and content solutions for advanced web platforms, leveraging its vast experiences in projects such as EUBrazilCloudConnect, EUBrazil OpenBio, EUBra-BIGSEA and EUBrasilCloudFORUM.
In October 2019, Trust-IT delivered a “Final Research & Innovation Research Priorities" report (along with University of Brasilia), proposing three research topics for future joint initiatives between the regions with high potential economic impact in both.
Trust-IT also led the organisation of the Cloudscape Brazil series, a forum to showcase success stories between Brazil and Europe, was first initiated by the EUBrazil Cloud Connect project, later transferred to EUBrasilCloudFORUM and then to ATMOSPHERE. Following up with the legacy of connecting ICT experts from both sides of the Atlantic, the Cloudscape Brazil editions organised within ATMOSPHERE were the meeting point for business people, public sector representatives, research scientists and developers behind some of the most exciting developments in cloud technologies from both regions. The event has been facilitating consensus on actions that matter for European and Brazilian economies and socio-economic aspects, as well as connecting innovative ICT SMEs to promote international collaboration with potential to have a positive impact on local citizens.
Trust-IT also supported the long-term Co-operation, Sustainability and Commercial Impact activities, leveraging its analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of cloud computing market.
Funding
